Drowning in the water, gasping for breath The ones lost grip to my paddle and ship I bring as many on my measly boat as I can But alas many souls which I cannot forget Fall too deep and at times without resist I follow the sun wherever it leads me Hoping, believing, in the land I am seeking At night, lanterns of others will throw me off track I struggle to navigate in the deep black With scope in hand, I’m willing to fix Anything wrong and guide it to bliss When sun rises, I praise and holler Rainbows and colors reflect in the water Whose beauty was seen by those who knew That paradise was something you find After courageously sailing across the deep deep blue
