I Grew Bolder

As it grew colder, I grew bolder.
I skipped on the ice; I grew bolder.
The nights grew longer; the days grew harder.
Before sunrise I woke up, I grew bolder.
Each battle I fought, I put on more armor.
I fought for what’s right, I grew bolder.
Through the haze, I looked for order.
Through the craze, I grew bolder.
It only grew worse; it only grew darker.
Although I got hurt, I grew bolder.
As the season changed, I grew wiser.
I looked to the sun to guide me; I grew bolder.
Since Hannah means Grace, it’s no wonder
I forgive again and again, I grew bolder.
